The blond boy’s name is Krad and the purple haired boy’s name is Dark. =3 They are from the manga/anime (the manga is better) “D.N.Angel”. I _love_ the manga and I really, _really_ love Dark. <3 <3 <3

This wallpaper is the result of my making a (junky) 7 page D.N.Angel yaoi comic. ##

I uploaded it here ( [link] ) but I may delete it sometime… >__> ;;;

The image of Dark and Krad on the left came from one of the wallpapers the Japanese D.N.Angel anime website gave out a while ago. Daisuke and Satoshi were on the other side but I didn’t like how Daisuke’s face was drawn so I edited out the right side of the wallpaper. Then I used one of my favorite images (the other image in this is my second fave picture of them) of Dark and Krad for the background. *___*

A friend of mine was supper cool and gave me the postcard with that image on it. *glomps * ^_____^

When I tried scanning in the postcard, my scanner didn’t like it very much so the scan was junky. TT___TT …I want to make a wallpaper with just that image alone in it but I’ll have to wait until I can get a better scan. *looks around at everyone hoping that someone will give me a better scan* T___T

I used over 55 layers (in Photoshop 6 ) to make this wallpaper. x___X I ran the right image of Dark and Krad through a few different filters and ended up with a blotchy-painted look on it. I then took the image and duplicated it and de-saturated it (made the image black/gray and white). I decreased the opacity so that some of the color version of the image below this one would show through a little. I then went and decreased the opacity on the color layer so that the gray-ish (at that time it was gray >_> ) background color would show through them both. Then I flattened the BG, black ‘n white, and color layers.

After they were flattened I ran the layer through some more filters… and then I went in and made a whole bunch of adjustment layers and added different colors.

Much airbrushing, color dodging and color burning and here it is, finished.

My Winamp is playing “Yami VS Hikari ~ epilogue” (dark/ness vs light) from the D.N.Angel anime Original Sound Track 2. …I will admit to making my winamp play this while I took the screenshot. X3 I thought it would be quite appropriate to have _this_ song on _this_ wallpaper and seeings how I kinda made this wallpaper because of my Dark VS Krad yaoi comic… ;;;;

I have a Word file open and am trying to translate something in it.

And I have Photoshop 6 open with this screenshot in it. ^__^
